There were no time to think before he already had moved, he had to protect his sister. She was more inprotant than anything, she had to live! Taichi grabbed his sister just before the digimons attack could make any damage to her, together they tumbled down a steep hill.
-Taichi!! Hikari!! The rest of the digidestined kids shouted after them but they could not follow the siblings untill they defeated the digimon and without Taichi and Hikari they were also two digimon short, Agumon and Gatomon could not digivolve. Agumon turned to Gatomon, stern look on his face and said;
- Go after them Gatomon, I'll help what I can here!
- Yes! The cat digimon rusched after Taichi and Hikari's scent to find them. She soon met up with them too see they were allright and on their way back to the battle. They were coverd in some mud and various cuts and scrapes, Taichi had his sister on his back and Gatomon could smell tears from Hikari.
-You allright? Gatomon asked conserned, taking a leap up on Taichi's shoulder to check Hikari.
- Yeah, somewhat bashed up but still in one peace. Taichi anserd and continued walking up the hill towards the now ongoing battle.
Agumon struggeld as he was held by the neck, slowly suffocating and gasping for air. Garurumon tried to help but got shoved away before he could help his struggling friend out of the deadly grasp of the stronger digimon. Just then Taichi, Hikari and Gatomon showed up over the hill and Gatomon took a jump from Taichi and Hikari to rescue Agumon but also failing, being hit over the head by the bigger digimon. She collapsed, Hikari ran over to her at the same time as Taichi started to run towards the digimon who had Agumon in it's death grasp.
-Agumooon!! He screamed, his digivice glowing
-T taichii! Agumon twisted in it's grip and finally broke loose.
"-Agumon digivolve to Greymon!-"
Greymon's apperance made the mighty digimon take a step back in awe before it tried to get away from the very angry Greymon who growled deep in its throat.
-You're not going anywhere! Taichi said smirking with the other digidestined behind him.
The digimon of the digidestined combined their powers to defend their partners and bring an end to the dangerous foe.
Afterwards they gatherd to take care of their friends wounds.
-You allright Taichi? Mimi asked as she looked upon their leader making fire for the night.
-I'm fine, don't worry. He asured her smiling lightly.
They had found no wather so he and Hikari was still coverd in the mud and blood.
A wile later they were all going to bed, being tierd from a long day. Taichi yawned and leaned his back against a big stone, Hikari snuggled into his right side and they fell asleep fast...
