Roads and Boulevards
I won’t forgive these heartfelt lies
They made flaws like tears and broken words
I cursed, and I cursed
But no words, good or bad
Will let me back in
My troubles were chasing me
Down the road of loneliness
Down the boulevard of tears
I fought with fist down the road of loneliness
I let them shoot me with silver bullets down the boulevard of tears
And I lost
And somewhere in this aching body
my pursuit of happiness tried to blossom
But, I lost
Lost the will of rising again
Lost the will of telling my story
So, let’s forget the grief
Let’s regret all the lies
And, last but not least
Let’s forgive what should be forgiven.
