At a UNSC military training camp on Cirnicus-IV, Tom Laskey trains to fight Insurrectionist (terrorist rebels). "Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn" is a sci-fi movie made to promote a video game. The characters are not well developed and the first half is a rip-off of "Starship Troopers". Maybe fans of the video game like this movie but for those like me that do not know the game, it is a deceptive sci-fi movie. My vote is five.

I have been a Halo gamer on XBox since Halo CE. Since talk about the movie began I have been waiting. I started to watching the movie on Netflix, I was not thrilled at all. It wasn't bad acting and I don't mind that there aren't any known actors involved, I actually prefer that. I guess my problem was the USMC Cadets looked so young and weak, along with the older Commanders. I guess I expected to much considering the profile of Master Chief.
My expectations must have been set to high. If I saw a squad coming at me that looked like the group in the movie, the only thing that would drop me is my laughter...
The additional content is a rather long part about the new recruits enrolling at the Corbulo Academy of Military Science and an outtake reel at the end of the movie. Both additions can be seen as a bit slow and not adding much content. The short intros of the single webisodes (that were always teasing the game a bit) were cut together to an opening sequence that does not quite have the same effect and seems a bit strange.
If you have seen the webisodes, you can therefore miss out on the retail version. Everyone else cannot make any big mistakes as there is only one version available for purchase anyway. a5c7b9f00b
