20 Mar 2014 Good fun and all, but I'm having an exceedingly tough time "converting" culture in my two starting provinces. I've got a +6 Culture temple and a +6 Culture Dignitary in one of them, and STILL it only drags the culture up by 0.7 % every turn. What gives? Why do I struggle so against "Eastern" and "Nomadic"

The Baktria faction is now playable without mods in singleplayer and multiplayer in Total War: Rome II. An update has been released by The Creative Assembly on I was hoping for more Bactrian units though, the Indian Elephants are nice and all. But Can someone please save Pontus' roster now?
Wait, so for how long has Baktria been a faction for? Because that is awesome that they are a playable faction. I started a Baktria game just last night; I used to love playing these guys in RTR. Hopefully I don't run into any other factions that are anti-Bakterial! All glory to the Hypno Toad!

When playing as Baktria you start with owning two entire provinces, each of them having a capital and small settlement: Transoxania and Bactria. If you tarry to long the Selucid Satrapys will all revolt and form a massive Military Alliance.
