23 Oct 2014 Looking for a link or a .pdf for the Penske 8983 rear shock. My dealer stuffed in with the fork tubes and forgot the manual for adjusting and setting the shock. He did a fair job setting it at the shop but I need to adjust the preload and other settings. Anybody have anything they can share?

5 Dec 2011 After owning my bike for almost two years now, I finally sprang for a rear shock upgrade. This will be my first mod to the bike. It sounds like it should be a very straight forward change - just get the bike up, unbolt the old unit, install the new shock and attach the remote reservoir. Any suggestions for a first time
Pulled the trigger on a Penske 8983 rear suspension unit. The only problem is there are no more piggyback shocks for the ZX6RJ. Had to settle for a unit with a remote reservoir. The only problem was, Penske gives you a pair of hose clamps to mount the reservoirreally a $900 shock with a pair of cheesy
