The manual only discusses the use of a 20x10 prop, but this is WAY too The only real competition currently for a large, gas 4 stroke is the Saito FG-36. . bit of 300 feet to get a sufficient amount air speed to lift off the ground.
BTW - My Kadet Senior is 15 min easy on a Saito .82. . For a gasser four-stroke, the newer Saito FG-17 would seem to be ideal for a Sr.

15 Dec 2014 Don't give up on the FG 20 if this is the engine you really want. i didnt apply any up elev. it just lifted perfectly. i dont know what happened but the engine slowley lost power. the New FG20 16X6+ 20:1 Like in the manual + 5 min of run time.
