I like to use a pattern & a plain color fleece. I am making an adult size, but here are numbers for smaller size blankets: 2 yds = adult size blanket, 1 1/2 yd = toddler, 1 yd = baby. Also no bulky knots to poke you in the back when you are wrapped up in it!
Your finished product will be about 10-inches smaller than the fabric you start with. Step 1: Choose the Fabric. Step 2: Line Up the Two Fabric Pieces. Step 3: Trim to the Same Size. Step 4: Cut Out the Corners. Step 5: Cutting the Fringe. Step 6: Begin Tying Knots. Step 7: Continue Around the Blanket.
