Bob, the snail!

I had a talk with a snail the other day
he was green with yellow spots on
As I looked at this young fellow
he looked back at me and said
Hello you, I'm bob and I'm a snail
I answered him with the line, hello bob
I've got a problem he said
but if you help me, I help you
Take me to a place where the grass is
green and the ladies are folly
Because, I can't get there at this speed
and I'm drunk as a mad butterfly
So help me out and I will answer your questions
I moved bob 5 centimetres to the right and there he was
in the green grass sayin' thanks man, that was great
now ask me something smart
I said, snails can't speak, or?

and yes, snails speak where I come from
But our conversation isn't real

So bob please say me, who are you really?
he made a wierd facial expression and said
I'm bob your fool and I love reggae and pot
I may be seventeen years old and I love cartoons
My day had been really funky
and I hanged out with bob
Bob was so great and cool
even when he poked his nose filled with snot and whiskey
But my consciousness started to kick in and I realized
that Bob was not green with yellow spots
He was purple with no yellow spots and so I asked
Does purple snails exist?
