I'll just write in English because it is a little easier for me when it's about horse training.
Are you familiar with the biomechanics of horse training? Or to the scientific parts concerning horse training. It is something I personally care a lot about. I have learned that Horsemanship is not always as good as you think because many of the techniques are not scientifically proven and they really just stores many of the horses' problems away instead of solving them.
In my opinion you should stop by Andrew McLean's website. AEBC, Horse Science. In Denmark his techniques are flourishing, so if you do not know him it is worth exploring.

I try to be as up to date as I possible can. There are so many made up theories about horses and what is best for them. You can't accept everything you come across, you have to consider the facts behind it. I wouldn't say that NH is something bad, but there are methods in all genres that aren't good for the horse. It doesn't matter if you call it NH, dressage, show jumping or western, you can always find things that you don't agree with and methods that are harmful.
The most important thing in trying to take care of your horse in the best possible way is to consider every 'fact' before you start using it in riding or handling your horse.

It's true. I just get really upset when people will not realize that usually it's not the horse that is the problem but them. But after my last discussion, I agreed with myself that I help those who want to be helped. I don't want to use my energy on all the other fools. As long as my horses are doing well it's fine :)

Exactly. Sometimes there's an itch in the fingers when you so badly want to help someone with a horse problem, but I try to not say anything anymore. If they're not intrested in my view of things, there's no need to help them.
So true. I guess the best thing to do is to keep my horse happy and healthy :)

Mmm. I'm unfortunately a little too kind. I want only the best for people and their horse, but many see my advice as criticism. Which is not at all my intention. But this is how the horse world is - a real bitchy world :b

Yeah, I know what you mean. You hear someone explain a problem, and you know exactly how to help them - but they don't understand your help and think you criticise them.
Spot on! ;)

I don't agree with the thing about the methods.
I my world, you can't say, this is a NH method and this int not. Tha whole thing is about connecting with the horse :)
Damn.. too late on the night for my english to function perfect.. XD

But these methods do infact that you connect with your horse. You train your way to a well balanced and calm horse. It's all about having a good relationship with your horse. However, these methods simply are scientifically proven, such as that the brain gets more endorphins, which means the horse is happy. Furthermore, you go after signs as the horse snorts, blinks a lot and lowers it's head. Which also means the horse is comfortable :)
There is much in it, much more than what I have written :)
