This book reveals how Israel’s expectations of a Militaristic Messiah to fight the occupation of the Roman Empire turned out to be God’s choice of a Spiritual Messiah through Jesus Christ who was to bring forgiveness, reconciliation and universal salvation. Jesus’s birth fulfilled the prophecy mentioned in the Old Testament. Jesus was born, baptized and filled with Holy Spirit, tempted in the wilderness of his forty days and defeated the devil. Mary’s pregnancy was revealed by Angel Gabriel from God.
He preached, healed, taught his followers about his mission on earth on God’s love to mankind. His mission was opposed by Jewish officials who he overshadowed on influence and popularity. Jesus overcame the devil and those opposed to him. He ended his ministry in Jerusalem during Passover Celebration when human race Passed Over sins to him to die for them universally to liberate them from the bondage of sins which brought death. He rested on Sabbath in the tomb and resurrected Sunday which assured the human race the everlasting life because he conquered the devil’s armory.
This book shows God’s love to mankind through Jesus Christ and the hope demonstrated by associating with all kinds of people unlike Jewish officials.
