6 Dec 2012 Fb, pa, silver fox, and even transgo make a manual valve body for the 4r.. I have one with an fb valve body. One with a transgo mvb conversion to the stock unit. The transgo unit works pretty well if your on a budget. Mine shifts firm and has held nicely, better than the engine in front of it it that's for sure.

If you have to go with a manual valve body then call Performance Automatic or Lentech. You can use I've heard both good and bad things about transgo. Of course, the price of a decent ratchet shifter along with the cost of the full manual shift kit comes within $100 of just buying the Baumann controller.
