Hello other frustrated people, I certainly agree that this is a major malfunction on the android phones. I have an HTC hero from Sprint. I purchased the phone and had it flashed for Cricket. I was never able to "sync" my phone with my gmail account, since I had it flashed. I always saw the "sync error" icon appear in my top bar, but never cared. I am not able to download apps without being synced, but can do pretty much anything else. I loved my new phone, until I pocket locked it. I can't sign in without the gmail account registered to the original owner of the phone. Now i am locked out of my HTC Hero with no chance of getting synced. Rubbish technology!!!!! I am def gonna get an IPHONE next. I have never encountered a manufacturer that just IGNORES claims and problems from their consumers. This would never happen with the Apple IPhone Thanks again Google. You have lost my business FOREVER. I am even switching my homepage to YAHOO. Please everyone who reads this do the same. Google technicians MUST provide answers if they want to keep there reputation and customer base. FU Google
