• The tank should be double wall and cylindrical or rectangular and horizontal in shape.
• It should have the complete equipment and devices including vents and vent alarms, fill pipes, metre and pump assemblies, hoses, hose filters, nozzles, fittings, grounding connections and the necessary electrical works.
• Pump switches and other switches, circuit breaker, and other controls should be readily accessible in case of emergencies.
