Use method 2 A or method 2 B (page 11) for capacitor reforming if the converters have been stocked (non-operational) for two years or longer. WARNING! Never switch on the converter power supply while the reforming circuit is connected.

please anyone clear me why reforming of capacitors is done?and why we use precharging resistors in inverters?regards. Another thing for capacitor reforming for Sinamics drive. Do I need capacitors reforming if drive (Sinamics) does not operate more than year? Please guide me. Thanks a lot. GBMC.
