In flashback al Texas del 1867, Duncan fa parte di una squadra dopo Immortal Koren e la sua banda di predoni. Nei giorni nostri, l'amica Immortal Cassandra di Duncan segue anche Koren, ma dice a Duncan che è anche Kronos, uno dei quattro cavalieri che nel corso dei secoli ha portato terrore e morte per l'umanità.
