A galactic hunter chases down his deadliest prey in the universe.
It truly doesn't take much to be considered one of the 'better' Asylum movies, simply show a small amount of competence and you're well beyond the curve for most of this particular studio's output. But what truly disastrous, bottom of the barrel swill do you have to sink to to be seen as the worst of the Asylum?? This leads us into AVH.
Starring William Katt as a journalist who stumbles onto an alien invasion, this movie is detestable in just about every conceivable way. Acting, plot, special effects and any semblance of anything even remotely reassembling entertainment value be damned. I'm sincerely worst for having subjected myself to this asinine claptrap (or is it crap trap) of a 'film'
After 20 minutes of agony, I took this one out of the DVD player. It wasn't worth the rental and I pity anyone who paid box-office prices to see this. Mrs. Phillips 3rd grade class has made a better movies and the kids were better actors. This movie gives me the impression that the company, Global Asylum is just that, a mental health asylum as the producers of this movie are out of their minds thinking that today's movie public is going to be thrilled to see this. From what I saw of this movie, the script is horrible and there are sequences that just do not fit together. As an example, when one character is found lying still on the ground nest to a wrecked car and seemingly unresponsive, someone says "Is he hurt?". No, stupid, he's lying out here in country side next to a wrecked car taking a nap..
Enough said.. See it for yourself or take my advice... DON'T
No, its not, this is a mockbuster of AVP Requiem, but there is a small reference, the jaw of the alien of this movie is the same jaw that the berserker predator is wearing in Predators (2010) 646f9e108c
