24 Nov 2012 ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 Intel i5-2500K - OC to 4.5Ghz Cooler Master 212 EVO G.SKILL Sniper Low Voltage Series 8GB (F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2) Hitachi 2TB HD, OCZ Vertex3 90GB SSD Corsair 600T Black Xclio 700W PS XFX Radeon 6870s in Crossfire with Gelid and Artic Air
I'd like some tips / suggestions to change in my BIOS settings to make the overclock work, Keep in mind I don't have a specific OC goal, Every extra MHz is CPU: i7-2600K 3.4GHz @1.1V (or 4.5GHz @1.36V) Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme4 CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo with single JetFlo
30 Mar 2013 I'm trying to figure out how to overclock my cpu from 3.3ghz i5 2500k up to 4.5 or 4.6ghz. I'm completely new to messing with the bios however. Where is a good place to start in OCing? Should I start.
MSI P67A-GD80 2500k @4.5 + CM 212x 4x2 1600mhz. Here is a guide i used before, should be similar to z77 chipset. www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2011/01/07/how-to-overclock-the-intel-core-i5-2500k/5. That ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 is a nice motherboard got one for client a while back last in stock

So im looking for some overclocking for dummies help. i basically know little to nothing about it, other than: hit the auto OC thing on your bios, and make sure you dont overheat when you run at 100% usage i've looked up guides and they help somewhat. but none of them have the same motherboard as i do
11 Jan 2012 Important Note This guide was put together using an i5-2500k with an ASRock P67 Extreme 4. Some settings for you may be different or not exist at all in this guide. Ivy Bridge performs about 5% (more or less) better than Sandy Bridge. So you may have a lower clock CPU and perform the same. 4.3GHz Ivy
