ABBA
ABBA was a successful Swedish pop group, formed in 1970 and disbanded in
January 1983 when the group had sold about 180 million records.
The name ABBA comes from members' initials: Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and
Anni-Frid.
The breakthrough took part in Melodifestivalen 1973 with the ring ring. The
song came in third place, but this did not prevent the group from getting its
first major success.
it took a year and a half to the next success, when the group had a hit
with the SOS,
1976 Abba were one of the world's most popular pop groups, with songs such as
Money Money Money and Dancing Queen, who became a U.S. number one 1977th
they've done musical Mamma Mia! based on Abbas' music.
