ABBA
ABBA was a successful Swedish pop group, formed in 1970 and disbanded in
January 1983 when the group had sold about 180 million records.
The name ABBA comes from members' initials: Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and
Anni-Frid.
The breakthrough took part in Melodifestivalen 1973 with the ring ring. The
song came in third place, but this did not prevent the group from getting its
first major success.

with the SOS,
