So I've been all over the Internet trying to find a solution to my problem -- couldn't get Word to print to a pdf without a white border around the page. I keep having this problem of the PDF print-out being slightly less than 100% and the new image scaled to fit within the boundaries of a rectangular white margin I don't know with the US page formats, but for example with the international formats, the A4 is with the white margins, and the A4+ is without.

How do I make a PDF print without borders? I have a of the page. After I convert it to PDF, it looks great on screen but prints with a quarter inch border on all sides. If your printer supports printing on 11x17 but not full bleed printing, you could always print the page out on 11x17 and trim it to 8-1/2" x 11".

For A4 this results in a 98% print. When you print a document with 'borderless' paper settings it will be first scaled up until it has a 3 mm bleed (again, longest side). For A4 this is 102%. For A3 paper these percentages are slightly smaller because the 3+3 mm = 6 mm : 420 mm (longest side of the A3 paper)

If you want to cut there are copy shops that can cut a stack of several hundred sheets of paper with a laser-precision cutter but they are only as precise as the
