Or equivilant. Only been into an auto trans once back in 1998. Need to rebuild the original BRF trans from the GN, i'd like to get an FSM or equiv to guide me through the rebuild. Thanks!

Well I gave CK Performance a call and took a look at their website. Well every transmission performance company I called recommended me to put the 700R4 tranny in my 86 Monte Carlo SS and told me that it would almost cost twice as more to build a performance 200R4. Well talking to CK Performance
I hear a lot of great things about both companies.This is not a battle between the two, but i would like to know which OD trans is the best bang.
22 Jan 2008 I was looking to learn a little more about the 200R4 and I wanted to get an overhaul manual for it. As far as selection which is the best. I was looking at the CK Performance manual but I called and their number is out of service, so I am not sure if I can still get these anywhere. Does anyone have one for sale

21 Aug 2010 I know, get it from CK Performance Transmissions -- been trying that. I bought their street/strip kit for my 2004R (valve body, billet servo, govenor, acummulator springs/piston, pressure regulator, etc.). It shipped without instructions (except for the billet servo, I did get that). Been begging over the phone each
7 Mar 2014 I bought your 2004R rebuild manual as well as a 2004R Stage II Master rebuild kit with the stronger input drum. First trans I ever rebuilt and I had a BLAST!!!! My 2nd purchase from you after my Stage II 700R4 back in 2003. Highly recommend Chris' products to anyone.
