Yeah, I get along with guys that live with on my floor, but I've never really "hung out" with any them on a regular basis. I spend a lot of time talking to my dad and older sister about my situation and all they tell me is "stop worrying, it will happen". There are times where we can just stare into each others eyes during pauses without feeling uncomfortable when he once used to look away and smile nervously if he caught me looking at him. When I was in junior college, I maintained this seclusive lifestyle, though I began to speak up more. My first semester of college, I absolutely hated it and thought it was never going to get better. I walked in my dorms and he laughed and said hi to me then when I went in the door I heard him making fun of me and telling everyone I stay in my room all day. Strange, but, it is what it is. Stressing about the weekend more than the week, because I don't want to sit alone while everyone else has fun with friends. When you are stuck for conversation, ask someone about themselves. But im here for advice. I don't like going out or smoking or doing those kinds of things. Unlike me, a person who is very affectionate, he can be closed off in my opinion, I think he fears coming off as a creep. But unlike money, you can't make more. After a good workout, your happier state will improve your chances of making friends.This guy started bullying me because I stay alone in my room for hours. The more you listen to your negative self talk and avoid social situations, the more vollege thoughts grow and take on a life of their own. Meetups will probably include - breakfast, lunch, dinners, going out for coffee, hiking, beach gatherings, movies, going out for drinks, seasonal events, or anything else that seems like fun.The only friend I had was my boyfriend of 3 years.
