Battlefield Earth Download Torrent-----------------------------------------DOWNLOAD: http://urllio.com/qx79g -----------------------------------------It's the year 3000 A.D.; the Earth is lost to the alien race of Psychlos. Humanity is enslaved by these gold-thirsty tyrants, whom are unaware that their 'man-animals' are about to ignite the rebellion of a lifetime. In the year 3000, humanity is no match for the Psychlos, a greedy, manipulative race on a quest for ultimate profit. Led by the seductive and powerful Terl, the Psychlos are stripping Earth of its resources, using the broken remnants of humanity as slaves. What is left of the human race has reverted to a primitive state, believing the invaders to be demons and technology to be evil. After humanity has all but given up any hope of freeing themselves from alien oppression, a young man named Tyler decides to leave his desolate home high in the Rocky Mountains to discover the truth, whereupon he is captured and enslaved. It is then that he decides to fight back, leading his fellow man in one final struggle for freedom.Acting/Script- B- (John Travolta's constant use of the word leverage is grating and annoying)
Plot- C- (I don't think I've ever been more confused about a movie plot in my life, plus some parts are TOO unbelievable and the plot holes are sometimes noticable)
Action Sequences- B+ (One of the better parts of the film, in my opinion)
Overall- D+ (the plus being for the action sequences)My summary above is hardly a glowing endorsement of the film! And, in hindsight I did dislike this movie...but not as much as I might have assumed. There is actually a bit to like...although the final 1/4 of the film that is mind-bogglingly stupid! The film begins like a bazillion or a thousand years in the future...whatever. The Earth is now a craptastic wasteland filled with either stupid tribal humans or nasty Psychlos. The Psychlos took over the planet long ago and laid waste to it--leaving only tattered remnants of the past such as burned out cities. I won't bore you with needless details of the plot, though I actually was intrigued about a dystopian future where humans are killed for sport or enslaved--even though it did seem an awful lot like the Planet of the Apes films in many ways. And, the idea of these humans eventually rising up against their oppressors also intrigued me.
BUT, as I said, this is a bad film. Throughout, the dialog is very lame and I knew something horrible must be in store--after all, critics were unanimous in their hatred of this film. Towards the final 1/4, what good there was in the film went completely out the window in a plot that made "Independence Day" seem very plausible. The smart caveman and the rest of his Flintstone-like pals stumble upon the ancient arsenal at Ft. Hood. And, the equipment is in perfect working condition after all these many centuries. And, the cave-dudes who have zero education and enjoy eating rats and rolling in their own filth suddenly learn, in a matter of just a few days, how to fly Harrier jump-jets, fire tow missiles AND detonate ancient nuclear devices PERFECTLY in order to defeat the Psychlos!!! This would be akin to a kindergarten class defeating the New Orleans Saints in Superbowl 44 or having trained cats beat the Nazis in WWII!! My jaw dropped in disbelief as cave-dudes in ancient jet planes took out alien spacecraft with amazing ease and Earth had a happily ever after ending! Ugghh!
Here are my scores for the film, as I have decided for once to break them all down individually (from 1 to 10):
Acting--2. John Travolta horribly over-acted and I wondered why he looked like John Travolta in dreadlocks while some of the other Psychlos looked more like Klingons. The human actors had the charisma of dirt---really, really dull and boring dirt.
Technical crap/special effects--4. This would be a pretty looking made for the Sci-Fi Channel movie, but as a Hollywood release that cost $179,132,273,492,342,235.38 (more or less), I assumed a tiny percentage of the budget was spent on effects that just looked routine at best.
Original story--First portion of the film--5; Second portion--negative 129!
Dialog--1
All in all, considering that the film is more than two hours long, it's a very long-winded bore which could have been watchable if not great. The rumors about the film are mostly true, but the story isn't THAT bad....nothing is!The only danger in seeing this film is in busting a gut at its unintentional hilarity.Yes, Battlefield Earth is loosely based on the novel of the same title by author and founder of Scientology L. Ron Hubbard. Originally intended to be a two-part move, Battlefield Earth depicts the first half of the novel. A sequel was intended to be made shortly after, but these plans never occurred. No. While the author of the novel Battlefield Earth, L. Ron Hubbard, is also the founder of the Church of Scientology, little or no Scientologist views are presented in the book. John Travolta was intent on making this film as both a follower of L.Ron Hubbard and as a fan of the source material. However, the film focuses on the science fiction aspects of the original novel, and does not intentionally promote any religious agenda. Slight similarities between themes of the novel and film and teachings of Scientology do exist, but the connection is more incidental than anything else. Several things. The book was long and verbose, and was difficult to condense into a two-hour movie; in fact, only the first half was filmed, with the second intended to be the sequel. The pulp science-fiction plot was considered to be clunky and outdated, and despite John Travolta's enthusiasm for the film, many studios were unwilling to finance the movie.
Upon release, the film received a critical drubbing, with common criticisms such as the poor acting, an outrageous and inconsistent plot, and a baffling visual style employed by the director (which included an excessive use of slow-motion and Dutch angles). This led to poor word of mouth before and after the release. In addition, the often poorly portrayed image of Scientology instantly tainted public perception, and the motives behind making this movie based on a novel by Scientology's founder L. Ron Hubbard seemed to overwhelm viewer objectivity.
Lastly, production company Franchise Pictures was sued in 2004 by its German investors when it was discovered that it had been inflating film budgets, including that of Battlefield Earth. Franchise Pictures was forced to pay $121 million in damages and ultimately went bankrupt as a result.
The British Version misses a headbutt. Approx 2 seconds are cut. Originally, there were plans to make a sequel to Battlefield Earth, since the movie covers roughly half of the novel of the same title. Shortly after Battlefield Earth was released in 2000, Travolta indicated he would move forward with a sequel. However, a year later he stated that a sequel was not in the works. Because of the poor reception that Battlefield Earth received, coupled with the collapse of Franchise Pictures, plans for a sequel failed to gain any serious traction and were abandoned. a5c7b9f00b http://telegra.ph/Van-Helsing-The-London-Assignment-Full-Movie-Hindi-Download-09-18 http://www.mazojiliza.lt/en/news/view/id/252419 http://dayviews.com/deipermou/526808882/ https://www.spreaker.com/show/3161475 https://markstafovsablobsf.wixsite.com/partivamar/blog/reign-movie-in-hindi-hd-free-download http://tnfdjs.ning.com/profiles/blogs/download-full-movie-kong-skull-island-in-hindi https://disqus.com/home/channel/peptysencei/discussion/channel-peptysencei/batman_the_animated_series_movie_free_download_in_hindi/ https://www.spreaker.com/show/3161474 https://www.spreaker.com/show/3161476 https://disqus.com/home/channel/naizelecom/discussion/channel-naizelecom/jue_di_tao_wang_full_movie_in_hindi_720p/
