Frank Martin returns as the Transporter with one very simple task - to deliver the package against all the odds. However, something that sounds so simple, is rarely so. Joined by two new team members, Caterina Boldieu, an ex- DGSE agent and later in the series, Jules Faroux, a computer and mechanical whizz, Frank is hired to deliver a diverse range of packages - from pop princesses to priceless paintings. Frank Martin takes the jobs no other transporter will touch or can achieve - simply because they are too challenging and the odds seemingly insurmountable. That is why he is considered the best transporter in the world. Frank's jobs take him to many beautiful locations around the world, but they also draw him into danger and mystery. And more often than not, solving that mystery will lead Frank to successfully completing his mission. However Frank's jobs aren't solely about the packages he must deliver but also about the people he meets. While his emphasis is always on completing the mission, Frank is unable to avoid the human emotions that come with dealing with clients in difficult situations - no matter how hard he tries. Transporter - The Series: Season 2 is an exciting, emotional, witting, adrenaline-fuelled twelve part series which will have the audience sitting on the edge of their seats as Frank drives them (sometimes quite literally!) through the twists and turns of each episode.
Frank Martin is an ex special ops, who now spends his life as a transporter on the other side of the law. With three rules, he always completes his contracts. One way, or the other.
This show is a big disappointment. Of course, you can't compare it to the movie trilogy, but come on! The fight scenes are staged so badly that each punch is telegraphed the day before. None of the bad guys can shoot straight and the lines are crappy. But these are British actors and actresses. The backgrounds scenes are very nice and make you want to call a travel agency. The woman are hot but should not be in any fight scene. I don't know why Hollywood think a 200 lbs man getting his butt kicked by a 100 lbs woman is realistic. Very weak story lines don't help. It would be great if they actually came up with original ideas, but I guess thats too much to ask. They should learn that TV series derived from successful Big Budget movies do not work!!!! Only thing good about this show is the Audi.
This TV show is beloved by many people because of its inspiring characters, starting with Frank Martin. He is professional transporter and has three simple rules in his job: "never change the deal", "never open the package" and "no names". Frank is a man, with strong moral principles, which he strives to defend as much as possible. Yes, it is difficult to be a man of honor all the time, especially in the world, he lives in.It is so difficult to remain a good person, when you must always deal with criminals, villains and other extremely dangerous persons. His job puts him always on the edge. During his missions, he is almost always alone and the only person, whom Frank can count on, is only himself
and his AUDI. In some cases, he takes all risks to help people, who he doesn't know and he does this freely. His character has become steel strong because of his training in the special military forces, however, it remains noble.
The main actor, Chris Vance played perfectly the role of Frank Martin. It is amazing fact, how could an actor like him, who played almost always roles of doctors or lawyers to become an action hero, but he did it and did it greatly. He made the character more humane and charismatic.
Personally, I would not forget to say good words about Catherine Boldieu, the college of Frank. It is great to see a woman, who is so beautiful and feminine, and at the same time she could be a devastating badass. She is maybe more good at fighting than Frank.
There aren't many movies these days, which could be so inspiring and so educating. The second season left a lot of unanswered questions, especially the end of the season. This is why I(and many other) would ask and yes, insist, for renewal. Please, do not cancel it!
