I am reviewing files in Windows File Explorer with the Preview Pane active so I can see what the file is. When I want to delete a file I do right click/Delete or use the Delete button on the Ribbon. However, when I come to a PDF file that I no longer need I can't delete it. I get a message that says "File in Use".

Hi guys,. I have certain Adobe Acrobat documents in my folder that I want to delete. However, whenever I try to delete or move the file, I get stuck on the "Discovering file" step. This doesn't happen for all of the pdf files in that folder either. Does anybody know what's going on? I run on a Windows Vista OS.
If I have File explorer (to give it its 'proper' current name) = explorer.exe open, and its preview pane displaying a pdf, I can delete the pdf.
