All scientists involved in the time traveling project have no clue that any problems they experience will, or has come from within their own group. With each trip through the time machine, paradoxes begin stacking up on top of each other, as any change in the time line could kill them all, or is it that not changing anything could ultimately cause their demise?
A group of young scientists are working on a secret project that may allow them to travel ahead in time. They test it by sending one of their own ahead one hour. He returns pleading with them to shut it down, explaining that within that hour, they will all die.
I personally do not take people's reviews and comments into consideration when deciding on a movie. People have different tastes (go figure). I watched and liked many movies that received bad reviews and vice versa. If i had followed what people said about some movies i would have missed a lot of good and enjoyable ones. So my advice to you is to watch the movie and judge for yourself.
For me, the acting and script could have been better of course but otherwise it was entertaining. The twist really was a twist, i did not see that one coming. Just the fact that i did not think of turning off the TV during the movie is enough to tell me that i enjoyed it.
Breed3011 has already written the perfect review for this movie - if you really want to know whether Paradoc is for you or not, ignore all the other reviews and just read that one. But much in repeat of his/her review:
Ultimately enjoyable for me personally because: * Intriguing plot that in a detective mystery style keeps you guessing with red herrings and twists and turns. * Satisfying ending that I didn't expect. * Time travel that's sensible.
But a struggle to get through at some points because: * B-grade acting to the extreme. * Very weak dialogue. * Stereotypical character types not developed, just overtly thrown out with single lines of dialogue. * B-grade special effects (though this only mattered in one or two places).
I hope they have a remake with better acting and scripting one day - it could be an amazing movie.
