23 Nov 2010 Hi ! I'm starting to create a bunch of "standard" command lines to run FFmpeg, based greatly on Robert Swain's guide to x264 Now I lack some.
30 Oct 2008 quality and input. I mainly use x264 to encode my own artwork. All of the frames are GIMP produced PNG files, so they're 24 bit images (no alpha). If I use the normal, hq, or max presets nothing seems to change. 4077 frames using this command line from Robert Swain's guide: Code: ffmpeg -i infile -vcodec
5 Oct 2010 Preset files are available from the FFmpeg source code in the ffpresets subdirectory. Using the 0.5 release or current svn trunk of FFmpeg, running make install will install the preset files to ${prefix}/share/ffmpeg and just specifying -vcodec libx264 -vpre
is sufficient for ffmpeg to find the preset.
