Luffy: Brought up by apes(Giving him the name Monkey D. Luffy), making him very dangerous and unpredictable. Lost his right hand and leg in that incident with the sea king.
Nami: Kind of Frankenstiens bride, was electrified to death in an accident with the clima tact but was brought back by Chopper. Runs on electicity.
Zoro: Haunted by Kuinas ghost, slowly driving him insane with hunger for power as well as his obsession with becoming the greatest swordsman of all time.
Usopp: Pinocchio. Mad with envy of the other crewmates because they’re “real".
Sanji: Turned into a cannibal when he was a little kid as he ate Zeffs body for survival. Have several larger burnmarks on his body because of kitchen accidents.
Chopper: Werewolf-y. Was exposed to a lot of drugs when he was younger in animal experiments turning him into a rampageous murdermachine once a month.
Robin(and robin): Siamese twins, has an burning hate for eachother which often results in them both breaking down into a broken mess.
Franky: a robot desperately trying to become human. Former warmachine for the goverment.
Brook: In which he returned to his body earlier, turning him into a walking, rotting corpse. (Zombie) Haunted by the nightmares of his fallen crewmates.
Extra:
Buggy: In which his bodyparts don’t just magically reattach to his body so he has to sew them back on his body again, leaving him to look more and more like a ragdoll after every fight.
Shanks: Lost his left eye and arm in a fight (not the seaking), splitting his personality. The “good" side is nice and friendly and the “bad/injured" side is having a mad obsession with getting revenge on the one who stole his limb and eye from him.
