4 Jul 2012 It is easy with Adobe Acrobat X: Save your presentation (PowerPoint or Keynote) as a PDF without the video. Open the deck in Acrobat X and select tools at the top right. Select multimedia, select video, and draw where your video should go with the cross hairs.
I think the only reader (with maybe some minor exceptions) that supports it is Acrobat, and even then only on Windows. So, is there a more modern way to embed videos in PDFs that doesn't rely on Flash, and do any common PDF viewers support it? If not, are there any plans to add this obviously useful
So far the only way I can get this to work from either InDe or Acrobat is to either do an external link or a file which will not display on apple/ipad-iphone. The client does not want an html/web file, she wants an interactive pdf. I have tried embedding in InDesign and also embedding mp4 instead of the youtube embed link.
