I hear the sirens, slightly
They are getting stronger by the second
Now I can see the blue and red lights
They are blinding me
I have no feelings in my legs
I feel so tired
Someone is picking me up
Carrying me somewhere I don't know
I fall asleep
I wake up and I only see white lights
I'm on something soft not like the hard ground I was on before
I look around and my head is aching
There is a tube going into my arm
I pull it out and a machine stops
All I can hear is a beep so strong and
I see people rushing to me, helping me
What are they doing?
I jump up and fall to the ground
I'm trying to get up but I can't
I look at my legs to see whats wrong and I can't see my feet
Where are my legs?
I start crying and look up and there is a man dressed in white
He says to me:
- You were in a car crash and your legs were crushed so we had to amputat them.
I look at him and think he is probably joking
But he was not and now I will never be able to walk again, bike, run, ride horses!
NOTHING
All because of drunk drivers!
