Therm-a-Rest recommends using a front loading washing machine using a mild, non-detergent powdered soap with cold water on a gentle cycle. If you do not have a front loading washing machine, hand washing is the way to go. We would recommend using Nikwax Tech Wash (REI item #724687). Tumble dry with low heat.
