Works as expected, I bought a boveda calibration pack just to see how accurate it was, because it says 2% +/- accuracy. It was spot on. Just to note this comes pre calibrated and does not allow you to calibrate it. I would recommend this to anyone with a humidor, takes the guess work out of reading an analog hygrometer
SteveInTexas started a thread regarding the humidity using Boveda 69% packs. It led to a discussion regarding his Xikar Hygrometer. Using the Boveda calibration kit his Xikar only read 71%. I just received a replacement humidor (long story) that came with a Xikar rectangular hygrometer, model 833XI. This unit can be calibrated manually.
