Agents from diverse Spanish local police forces are called to form a special team.
After the robbery of a bomb and the death of several secret agents who tried recovered it, Minister Boyero recruits five agents from some Spanish local police agencies to preserve the existence of Cuerpo de Élite (Elite Corp.), a secret team created in the 70's during the Spanish Transition. The new agents are Santi (Madrid's Mobility Agent), Lola (Andalusia's Civil Guard), Pep (Catalonia's Mosso d'Esquadra), Gorka (Basque Country's Ertzaina) and Byron (an Ecuatorian immigrant who claims born in Cuenca, member of Spanish Legion). The new Cuerpo de Élite is called to conclude the unfinished mission of the previous team: recover an atomic bomb from Palomares's Broken Arrow (an infamous accident where four atomic bombs fell in Spain's coast in 1966) before it be exploded. But the bad connivance between them will endanger to fulfill the mission, in addition of a woman who tries to alert Santi about the hidden truth behind of Cuerpo de Élite.
This is an action comedy from Spain with English subtitles. A diverse group of "losers" are brought together as a team to train and find a hidden atomic bomb from 1966. It is a diverse group from different parts of Spain and Ecuador. They speak with different languages and dialects which was part of the humor that didn't translate as we saw it all in English. The production pays homage to MIB, Mission Impossible, and Bond and perhaps a few more. The Basque is portrayed as a muscle bound hot head homosexual. The Catalonian is a geek. There is also a dig at Asturias, a place that my grandfather left to come to America.
We have seen these loser group films before in one shape or form or another from "The Dirty Dozen", to 'Meatballs" to "Guardians of the Galaxy." They are also fun because we know the underdog is going to triumph. This was no exception, except most of the jokes were like the ones I see on Univison. They are funny to a degree, but mostly don't make the culture line. I did LOL at the elevator scene near the end when one of our heroes pulls out his pen and...

Watching this movie was a complete waste of time. The worst of the worst. All good rates must be from friends and family.
