I never did them my first year because I thought they were dumb, this year I decided to do one in the beginning of the year. Work hard to become the "person" of your dreams. That for most people is school, or a club, or work. Now get out in the real world, remember the game has changed, and be prepared to have your ass handed to you. You will understand concepts better if you solve some problems. I don't know anyone who loves their field but hated their classes, peers, and professors- but I know plenty of people who do, and now aren't satisfied with their careers. They were the ones that actually pushed me to hang out with them and they completely change the way I look at the world. Lost a job, etc. It is seriously surprisingly how there is no popular app for making friends. Never had a problem in that school again. Unfortunately I have an personality so I find the whole experience agonizing but this seems to be what you're after. Most of my friends were all in a fraternity, it was a small school and the guys in it were definitely not like frat guys in movies. I've met some surprisingly nice people. I had friends in high school I played games with. It's not strange to come alone and you'll naturally start talking to people. You kind of just have to figure it all out as you go. Kind of funny to say they're social rejects, when you're the one without friends. Ive been in classes filled with dicks. As an adult, this only really happens at work and the age differences can be problematic. Schedules compress, priorities change and people often become pickier in what they want in their friends. Put yourself out there and invite people that you want to befriend to hang out. Basically, you're tailor-made for full-time employment.My friends increase through mutual friends. As a freshman, friends came easily to me. If they do follow back, keep giving them attention for another 1-2 weeks, then don't be afraid to be very forward.Sports are your thing? I find it extremely difficult to interject myself into social situations on my own.
