*****It takes elephant skin to be an author. It only takes one asshole and one star to put an author in review hell. Writing is like selling your soul to Lucifer. We are always at the mercy of reviewers and their talent to push that one or two star button. I'm crying, shocked and pissed off. Is this how authors are talked about and treated? I want no part of this. I had no clue that us authors are lowlife, white trash, lonely and desperate creeps and bottom feeding scum till reviewer #19,490 wrote this about us.
Who was your one or two star button pusher? Are you on one of these reviewer's list? This list is only one reviewer out of 1000. 50% or that 1000 seem very nice and willing to do an honest, constructive review. The other 50% are assholes and will not do nothing for no one and tells authors straight up stay out of their emails and no I will not do a review for no one and my opinion is my opinion.
By the time I looked through JeffKnowsStuff's opinions I didn't have the heart and was scared to contact any of them. Most authors this happens to hangs their heads, tucks their tail between their legs and gives up. I am too, but I'm taking my reviewer down with me. I read a ton of author's work. Some needs a little editing, formating or more content, but I won't go as far as calling them nasty shit.
If you have a one star or two star rating from any of Amazon's reviewers you are done. You will not go any further. You may sell something here and there, but that one or two star rating and whatever nastiness they wrote will follow you no matter if it's true or a lie or outright nasty. These reviewers are being compensated to bash authors and products and some reviewers love hating.
I have read many stories on the Internet authors have written of how sad they are to get one or two star reviews and it ruined them. JeffKnowsStuff is bashing authors. He says, "We are bottom feeders, white trash, lowlife & desperate lonely creeps. The only good review ratings and five stars are for books or products that relate to his life. He does not give fair and unbiased reviews. This is YOUR book Mr. JeffKnowsStuff. Bash this book it's all yours.
I wrote this book just for you and your fellow Amazon reviewers to bash. I had over 200 titles published, but because of you I unpublished all of them. I'm getting out of the line of fire and out of reviewer's path of destruction and save my life's story, my work, my book. I pray other authors follow my lead on this. There are other alternatives. Not as good, but reviewers are destroying the writer's world as we knew it or thought it would be.
I was inspired to write this small book after reading thousands of writers, authors and publishers on the Internet telling their stories of how a one or two star review destroyed them. This is truly sad. Believe in your book it's your work. Some of us have been working on our life stories or books for a lot of years. I will not be bullied, abused or mistreated by no one. This included reviewers.
If authors can not publish our work without the threat of bad mouthed nasty reviewers then look for another route to publish. Once you have been under harassment by a reviewer and you have only one or two stars you are not going any further anyway. It destroys our reputation, our name, our work, our dignity and the ending of our book/s. In my case it was wrong what this reviewer, Jeffknowsstuff did.
In 2014 he purchased and reviewed a book of mine titled; "Soldier's Reunion." His review at that time I took to heart. I have since revised, edited and formated my books to perfection. Recently Jeffknowsstuff used the same review from 2014 and changed the picture of the book he reviewed back then to a picture of a book I published this year 2017 titled; "Alert-Appalachian Inbred Hillbilly Meets Technology."
He did not purchase this book and has not purchased anything from me since he bashed me in 2014.
