A scientific expedition sets out for the island of Borneo. They are in search of a flower named the Blood Orchid. Reports say that this flower can lead to a longer life. But what they find inhabiting the rainforest of Borneo are a group of anacondas. But they aren't ordinary... the Blood Orchid made the anacondas longer, faster, and smarter. Now the scientists must find a way out of the rainforest by outsmarting, outrunning and outliving the anacondas.
A scientific expedition sets out for Borneo to seek a flower called the Blood Orchid, which could grant longer life. Meanwhile, they run afoul of snakes and each other.
Now this film is about a group of scientists setting out to Borneo. Why? They want to find the Blood Orchid. What? It's a flower that can make you live longer by taking a pill they might make. Maybe it might sell a lot better than Viagra, as they say. Although this isn't as good as the original, it still gives you the entertainment. It's filled with more thrills and suspense than the original. The acting is kinda bad. Some of the characters are funny. In this movie, the anacondas are longer. There are even more anacondas in this film than in the original which means more action sequences to love about. The ending is what you want to be concerned the most. It is the best scene in the whole movie. It's the most suspenseful. Well, it actually matters if you care for that character or not. I surly did. This is another underrated film in this series. Listen to me when I say: This film will not disappoint you if you're not looking for acting. This is a film that was meant to entertain people and it surly did that to me!
People say to me that I am lucky to be able to watch so many movies (being a video store manager). I always make a point of letting them know how much crap I also have to watch. <------ Getting my drift here?
Exactly, this film was very much a king in the "crap" category.

Pathetic and predictable plot. Not enough creepy crawly for a "creepy crawly flick". Typical clichéd greedy guy who everyone wants to cop it in the nastiest way (which wasn't nasty enough either). Typical voice of reason ex-military guy who has tried to find himself and right the wrongs of his past who is now the ultimate voice of reason. Typical pathetic comic relief "thats what I'm talking bout" loser and typical pathetic predictable plot movement..... in boat, boat crashes, lose boat, on their own against big nasty snake, lose a couple of the cast that you are deliberately steered to like, win in the end nightmare of my time.
Please heed these words and run away when someone suggests to go see it or rent it.
Out of 10? -----> BIG FAT ZERO. I will certainly be buying down on this one for my shop.
What they don't do often enough is battle anacondas. It's all tease and no payoff.
