Toxic waste bubbles in a ship waiting permission to dock in Odessa. Frank Martin turns down a job in Marseilles, referring it to a pal. A short time later, the pal, wounded by gunfire, crashes his car into Frank's living room and dies, leaving a young woman in the back seat. The employer of the dead man shows up, forces Frank to take the job, snaps a bracelet on his wrist that will explode if Frank gets more than 75 feet from his car, and sends Frank on a journey east with the young woman and a trunk full of something. She's Valentina, nearly mute. Can Frank figure out what's going on, deliver the package, and escape alive? And what does the ship have to do with it?
Frank Martin puts the driving gloves on to deliver Valentina, the kidnapped daughter of a Ukrainian government official, from Marseilles to Odessa on the Black Sea. En route, he has to contend with thugs who want to intercept Valentina's safe delivery and not let his personal feelings get in the way of his dangerous objective.
I Am a huge fan of Jason statham and seen most of his movies, this one however was one that i just watched Last Night, i loved the first Transporter and The second was OK and enjoyable But this one.... Omg. i figured that this Megaton or Whatever this dude's name is...is one Bad and stupid dumb*** of a director, not only ruined the Taken franchise But The Transporter one as well, I mean what the F***, Bad director, Bad dialogues, Bad camera work, huge waste of talent (Jason statham), and probably the worst no talented and sexy whatsoever lead actress i've ever seen in my life, lets see what else Megaton will destroy ahead, do Yourself a favor, only watch the first and second.
It seems the creators think they can stick Jason Statham in a car along with some foreign chick who cannot act (Would just like to ask, was it just me or does she look like Bianca from Eastenders!!) and that's enough. The story was terrible, there is nothing wrong with the original idea of the transporter why go to all this effort to ruin it!
-They didn't need this 'can't go further than XX feet from the car' business, it just ruins it. -All the action scenes are sped up, which just makes them look silly, they may have done this on other releases but not so I've noticed. -All the silly things that happen during the film, BMX, car/water/air, Train/bridge, train/car. They are all just ridiculous! (I hope that doesn't spoil it for anyone)
After the quality that was 'Death Race' I was so looking forward to this film. Now I have given up all hope for anything special in 'crank 2' and 'Brazillian Job'
The only saviour in this film was Robert Knepper who in my opinion doesn't receive enough screen time, after watching him for years in Prison Break he has so much more potential than the opportunity he was given.
I will stick to the first (and my favourite) Transporter. This is the very reason why some films should not have sequels!
Transporter 3 is so far over the top that it more than once spills into outright cartoonishness.
The song that sounded like the 'Stones' was in actual fact 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' by Iggy Pop & The Stooges. "Set It On Fire" by Eve. a5c7b9f00b
