Vegetarian food is always faster than stuff for us meat eaters. I think you're vegetarian just for the near-instant gratification.

1) that's so not true! Go to mcdonalds and you'll get the mcbean burger AGES after everybody else! I wish it was true...
2) If it WOULD have been true - which it's not - it might be because veggies are much nicer and don't need as much time on the stove to become edible ;)

I'm not sure why McBeans take so long. The Veggie Burger at BK just gets microwaved and put on a bun.
