April 2012 (First roll of film)
Limehouse
Introduction:
This album is a compilation of all the pictures I took of Eleanor from April 2012 to early this year. Just as I met Eleanor at the beginning of 2012, I was synonymously given this camera from my mother as a hand me down. It turned out to be great timing as I had been focusing on music for 4 years and was gradually becoming disillusioned with it at the time.
I knew I was too late to apply for Uni that year but I couldn't escape a great urge to start making film. So upon learning that Stanley Kubrick started out as a photographer before going on to directing, a plan formed in my head of how to put that camera to good use.
As I found out how hard it is to find photographical subjects being a complete amateur and someone who suffers from social anxiety, I started using every roll of film for practice on Eleanor instead. So with my persistence to get better and Eleanor being the very model of patience, we kept this up as time progressed and the years flew by.
These are all those photographs compiled chronologically. Through watching these I think you will see an aspiring photographer getting better and more confident with his camera but let's face it, its really much more interesting seeing this beautiful young woman flourishing and gradually turning into an even more amazing woman before your very eyes.
