Welcome to the Arcane guide for Warlords of Draenor. It is our goal to provide Arcane mages and those who wish to become Arcane with all the information they might need going into the expansion and later into dungeons and raiding. We hope you enjoy reading it and find what you are looking for.
This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to play an Arcane Mage in a PvP environment. The guide will cover everything from talent choices, artifacts, gameplay and rotation, and useful racial bonuses. Arcane Mage PvP is currently at the best state it has ever been. In this guide, I will attemp to give you a start on why and how you should play it!
9 Jul 2014 pom ; they can spam spellsteals for heals with the glyph ; they get to sit in cc for less than other specs ; they actually do damage when left alone while frost and fire may cast as many frostbolts/fireballs as they want and they don't do damage on the beta. Feels like arcane can be the pvp spec for wod so far.
In Mists of Pandaria 5.3 Arcane Mage PvP is better than ever before. This makes the spec a lot more interesting to play in most PvP situations.
All joking aside, this guide will hopefully give you some insight in how to setup your Arcane Mage, and help you increase your effectiveness in PvP. to play that much in Warlords of Draenor season 1 due to my internship, though I still managed to get around ~2.500 rating in 3v3 as Arcane/Shadow/Holy.
