Patrons locked inside a bar are forced to fight monsters.
In a remote bar, a newcomer advises the customers to seal the place up, as hungry monsters will soon attack them. The customers must quickly organize a strategy to defend themselves from the deadly creatures.
I read a lot of other user reviews prior to watching Feast, and had reasonable expectations. Sadly, the film proved to be absolute rubbish.
In short, the acting was OK, the special effects weren't too bad, but the script was dire.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect a masterpiece, and I fully expected a 'Dusk til Dawn' simulacrum, but this was an utter waste of time. Very, VERY poor. I watched it for an hour then gave up.
I often check IMDb reviews prior to watching films, and, although I love freedom of speech and personal opinions, I'm learning to trust the more negative reviews.
In short - 'Feast' is a complete waste of your time.
Superb gross out horror movie. Breaks the mold of most plots these days. Such as not too serious or trying to make some stupid point. From beginning to end it had me at the edge of my seat. I couldn't get enough. Feelings of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, feeling powerful one minute and powerless the next, being on top of your game and then being on bottom, having thought you'd seen it all,then realizing you'd seen nothing. And then for one individual being at the bottom of the barrel, then rising to the occasion and kicking butt. The only possible flaw would be, the lack of any nudity at all. I actually had seen project green light and have been patiently waiting for Feast's release. Disappointed I was not.
Feast isn't quite demented enough to reach Raimi-an heights, but Gulager uses parts of the monster-movie buffalo even the buffalo didn't know existed.
The Unrated version of this horror flick is only a couple of seconds longer, in total about five seconds and features a bit more violence but basically, it's not worth mentioning. Nevertheless there's a detailed comparison between both versions with pictures availableover here. a5c7b9f00b
