A Wall Street broker is forced to evade a police chief investigating a bank robbery as he attempts to recover the stolen money in exchange for his son's life.
In an attempt to reconnect with his son Danny, successful Wall Street broker Will takes his family on a vacation to the cabin where he grew up. While Will and Danny are hunting, their trip takes a deadly turn when they witness the murder of a crooked police officer as a bank robbery goes awry. When Danny is taken hostage by the criminals, Will is forced to help them evade the police chief investigating the murder and recover the stolen money in exchange for his son's life.
Trying to guess how high the corruption went kept my attention. i gave the best performance to Gethin anthony as the good/bad guy. Willis and Christensen gave solid performances. This was a much better and complex storyline than other reviewers have allowed.
jeez Bruce Willis is keep on getting these paycheck these days starting to sick of him playing villain in films as always villain he has been main hero in movies before witch i am not going to name all of them but now with his films these days just him as cameo not a lead role actor or something expect i am so waiting for death wish remake to be out theaters November i wanna see that role for him but for this NO i hated roles like this for Bruce Willis just looks shame for him and fans this movie is not highly recommended. now Hayden Christensen i like him as actor but not fan of star wars prequels i liked Jumper, American Heist, Takers, but his lead role i didn't mind him as actor i expected for him and Bruce to be team in movie good chemistry together not turning Bruce as villain i liked Bruce Willis as villain but i thought i have seen him as Villain too many times in he play's lead role hero sadly. director who has worked with Bruce Willis in movies and Steven terrible movies Marauders, First Kill, Silent Night, Arsenal. terrible movies but only movie i liked was Extraction that was all of it. Escape Plan 2 i hope that goes on theater i hope that movie turns out to be well. i checked out this movie at theater and it was cheap ticket to see it. plot starts off Will (Hayden Christensen)A Wall Street broker who decides to take break for week to go on travel back to his town where he grew up with his wife Laura(Megan Leonard) and son Danny (Ty Shelton)in Granville, Ohio Will was haunter has his sniper rifle when
his grandfather teached him haunting, Will and Danny went out for haunting saw 2 guys complying about money 1 guy was holding gun to another guy Levi (Gethin Anthony) survived from gunshot point blank buy a dirty cop, Dirty cop tried to kill Danny, will toke a shot on cop killed him and toke Levi to his house i was thinking why Will just take him to hospital let doctors deal with him. he toke Levi to his house kidnapped Danny. Will founds a key to safe with bag of money. Sheriff Howell (Bruce Willis) now Bruce Willis he is in movie a lot but doesn't really do much he looks bored in movie. will was going to safe where money is Howell Caught Will was going to arrest him but he explained to Howell his son is Kidnapped Howell Help's Will is helping out Will to get his son back and to give money to Levi. i expect Howell & Will to be team together now Levi is not really much of villain but he didn't threatening Danny like idiot or real series killer like tied up to basement noting like that kept Danny in good way. but later on i am sick of tied of these stupid twist of this movie, turns out to be Howell and another cop is dirty for money why Howell didn't kill will for taking money or set him up and lock him in jail say he killed Cop and got key for safe with bag of money setting him up ? then there's NO Movie why did he bother helping will ? if he wants money ? i am guessing Howell wanted to do it so he can set up Will ? god this movie and story doesn't make any sense at all if Howell wanted money first place arrest him blame at him for killing cop but will told Howell that his son is taken so i am like OK Howell wanted to help will when he is a dirty cop wanted money with dirty cop give me break what was point of that such a pointless headache piece of crap trash film wasted story it's such a pain in ass such waste of story line and plot just sucked ass Bruce Willis turns out to be villain in movie he is their just for money that's all. jeez they don't give Bruce Willis noting to do. i am just really tried of this these stupid twist. sadly theirs not much to say about this movie at all because it goes for 1h 37minutes long noting much to say. Bruce Willis doesn't look like he his enjoying
himself in movie oh any like Steven C Miller movies are noting. Bruce Willis needs better Opportunity needs a better agent or something to get roles for better movie not like this, this didn't had much of action in it this movie more of time waster silly twist same Cliché bullcrap wasted good actors talent for this movie such a waste Huge waste for this movie wasted too many for Bruce and Hayden it's sad i rather see movie with these guys in a better movie with better director or better writers. this is just movie with not much action more lame as thriller witch was not thrilling please people please don't ever think about seeing this movie unless if it is for free not even paying ticket or buying on Blu ray or DVD it's not worth it unless you saw it for $2 wanted to see Bruce Willis & Hayden Christensen that's all not for movie just these 2 actors you will only see that's all
Every character states their inner motivation out loud, often without prompting, making for a film that loses its intrigue almost immediately.
