A special crime unit investigates serialized crimes that cross over European borders, to hunt down criminals and bring them to justice.
I found crossing lines while searching for another show to watch on netflix and loved it!! I loved the idea of the show and I loved the characters especially Carl Hickman and Tommy O'Connell. Then came season 3 with only one original character and a whole bunch of new characters and changing how they get cases. I watched season 3 hoping it would get better but it didn't. I'm not even going to bother watching season 4. What a stupid way to tank an awesome show, whose idea was this??
I just discovered this series on Netflix, and I am enjoying it immensely.
It takes place in Europe and has a real European feel to it -- you'd think this was no big deal, except that some shows take place in a certain area and it's obvious they're just in Hollywood.
Crossing Lines stars William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland, Marc Lavoine, Richard Flood, Gabrielle Pession, Elsa Mollien, and Moon Dailly. I have to say whomever cast the women in this series should be working for The Next Top Model - they are so stunning, and again, not your typical Hollywood blondes.
The group is a sort of worldwide FBI; if a crime crosses over into other countries, it's a case they can take on.
Filmed in Paris and Prague, the show has intriguing stories, beautiful locations, it's sophisticated, glamorous, and well-acted, with Fichtner leading the cast. I find this an unusual type of show for the U.S. -- which frankly scares me for its future. I do hope it continues.
