Lucas Snow was buried alive and has lost 3 days of his life. His best friend is murdered and the two top crime bosses are hunting him down as well as the police. Will he find out who set him up?

First let me state that the characterizations by each actor is top notch! Their look, their speech, their moves are all believable and well done. Second there are some really evil & mean characters (cowboy jack & teddy shark) - i mean heartless evil.
But there are too many characters to keep straight in your mind as the story unfolds. Plus the plot line seems to jump around too much. The lead character 'Lucas' comes across as a bit of superhuman as he is constantly on the move and it seemed implausible to me that the two crime bosses could not find him.
Then the ending left me confused as too just how did the friend get the money. That isn't made clear. This movie (as stated by another reviewer here) must be seen twice maybe thrice for me!
I recommend this movie because it is just too interesting and mysterious not to watch. Sorry about the only 7 stars but that is how i feel about this flick!
This is a film for anyone that hates going to the movies and figuring out halfway through it what the ending is going to be. The film was a fluke in that I had never heard of it and I did recognize several actors. This is a very well written story with a Dark seedy undertone of mystery that I happen to like. Not being a movie critic but watching at least 3 films per week, I had a great experience with 3 Days Gone. I want to see part 2 if there is going to be one as I want more Cowboy Jack-ass. This is a great character as were several others in the film but he is one that you just want to watch. The music, timing, and locations were all really good as I try to pick out the things that make a film click for me and those worked. The Directing was a bit odd as I was wondering if there was a Director but that is my only critical comment. Loved the ending and will recommend this film to everyone that likes it HARD!
