6 Sep 2004 On the 9-3's that have the cup holder right under the SID, I opened up the cup holder and was able to get a finger under the SID and pull it out. Those without a cup holder, might have to remove the radio to get the SID out. It is pressure fit so it pops out with a little force. Once you pull it out, unclip the wiring

5 Oct 2008 I was planning on sending the unit to the UK for an ebay repair or buying a recond unit, but i decided to try the home repair first. For the price of a Big Mac Meal I got instructions off ebay (although I do recall seeing them on this forum for free) to remove, open and repair my SID. It genuinely took me 30 mins
