Removing Embedded Page Thumbnails. From the Navigation pane, click PAGES. NOTE: This action toggles between hiding and displaying the Pages pane. From the Options pull-down list select Remove Embedded Page Thumbnails. A confirmation dialog box appears. Click OK. All of the embedded page thumbnails are now removed.

In working with PDF files my primary use of Acrobat is to extract pages from gigantic PDFs, creating many smaller files. In order to do so quickly, I need to display the thumbnails pane. I WISH I didn't have to open the thumbnail pane EACH and EVERY time I open a new file. This (even with the F4 keyboard
