20 May 2012 Leafing through the tech manual and then turning it over, I got my second portent (though I didn't know it at the time) of impending scope frustration. A sticker on the back cover of the manual reads, “Please note that on your 1903-A4 rifle, the windage and elevation knob adjustments are marked incorrectly
