Jun 8, 2012 first up this is for the tokina at-x pro 28-70 f2.6-2.8 that is able to take the bayonet lens hood. Switching from auto and manual focus involves TWO STEPS YES. this is done by pulling the clutch to MF and leaving the auto focus dial at AF. this reduces the speed of AF but FTM is absolutely possible.
The AF is loud and not just a little, but it is fast and accurate (No adjustment required on my A77ii), the manual focus is a joy, it's smooth with a short throw and no .. On my Sony A700, this rather rare TOKINA AT-X 270 PRO "1" AF 28-70 F2.6-2.8 has quickly become my all-time favourite Alpha-mount lens as an enthusiast
As promised, here are some quick test grabs from my new. Tokina AT-X-Pro 28-70mm F2.6-2.8 (Angenieux design) - did I mention that I love that lens? The way you can let the light leak in, is amazing. The 28-70 f:2.6 AF was Angenieux's last consumer oriented zoom, that was targeted towards the pro market. The lens was
Sep 7, 2010 Originally developed by French company Angenieux, Tokina bought the design and rolled out several versions before ceasing production in the mid 2000s. I have AT-X Pro I 2.6-2.8 28-70 (angenieux design), AT-X Pro II 2.6-2.8 28-70 and Nikon 35-70 2.8D. Both the Tokina's are much sharper wide open than
Nov 8, 2009 My Pro I - probably made for the Japanese market because it's labeled 2.8 only - focus is at infinity when twisting to the right - it reads 28 70 on the barrel; I noticed that your photos show both this .. Hi there, I have owned the Angenieux Zoom F 28-70mm 1:2.6 AF for many years, and it is still going strong.
Nov 29, 2014 The 28-70 f:2.6 AF was Angenieux's last consumer oriented zoom, that was targeted towards the pro market. The lens was just as good optically as any other pro zoom lens of the time either by Nikon or Canon. Unfortunately, its price was also on par with the best of the competition, which made it a tough
Jul 22, 2014 Tokina ATX Pro, Angenieux, Jimmy Cheng, Blue Print Photography, Talktog. Angenieux licensed design – Tokina AT-X Pro 28-70mm f2.6-2.8. Ok, I am reviewing a . It's a strange affair because when you focus the lens manually, it's like turning a electric motor with lots of gears inside. It's definitely not the
Dec 24, 2006 They sold the design of the 28-70 2.6-2.8 to Tokina which made a better lens out of it since the Angenieux was mechanically challenged (it had a tendency to lose little parts as you used They still brought out new lenses, a manual focus 35-70mm f/2.5-3.3 zoom and later a autofocus 28-70mm f/2.6 zoom.
