So..would anybody have a service manual on one of these as I would like to take it apart and fix it up. I'd rather have a diagram before stripping it so I know where to put all the bits back when it springs apart !!! I asked a Manfrotto dealer about the cost of repair, ad it came as no suprise it was about the cost

I am about to give this piece of crap the float test in the nearest dam. Any ideas on how to tighten it ? it cant even hold a 30D & 24-105.
As promised, here is a solution to a Manfrotto 322RC2 head not gripping the ball very tightly. If you insert a #3 (Metric) Allen Wrench in the hole in this picture, and tighten SLIGHTLY, you'll notice a marked improvement in the head's grip on the ball.
