12 Feb 2008 I was under the impression that some if not all gas mask filters have dangerous cancerous causing substances inside them. I'll probably just gas mask. It is a big improvement over the M17A1/A2 series, as the M40 uses a screw-in filter and has a clear plastic window that gives a much better field of view.
