It can be done , but it wont be cheap You need a BOP bellhousing, & an aftermarket flywheel for that caddy. Also, the crank needs to be drilled for the pilot bushing(none of the cad engines were drilled). You might check on a couple Caddillac tech boards for more info & parts availability. best of fun,crazyAl
16 Aug 2006 building a ratrod want to hook 4-speed trans to 500 cadillac motor.Don/t know what flywheel to get. If I'm not mistaken, he wants a 4 speed manual tranny hooked up to it. If this is the case, he will need Yeah I second or third that the crank will have to be worked on for a manual to hook up to it. A 200r4
